18 Tottenham matches Lucas Bergvall could miss, including potential Champions League quarter-final
Lucas Bergvall faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury during Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund.
Given Tottenham’s extremely bloated injury list, the last thing Thomas Frank needed was to lose another one of his players, but that is exactly what has happened.
Bergvall was forced off on 63 minutes during Tottenham’s win over Dortmund, with the youngster replaced by academy defender Jun’ai Byfield, who came on for his debut.
It has now been reported that Bergvall now faces two or three months on the sidelines, which comes as a bitter blow to the Lilywhites.

Will Bergvall’s injury force Spurs to act in the transfer window?
Tottenham are short of options in the middle of the park at the moment, with Rodrigo Bentancur also out with a long-term injury
Additionally, Joao Palhinha is currently out of action, while Pape Sarr is sidelined due to a virus, with the duo’s return date unclear.
Some reports have suggested over recent weeks that Tottenham are considering adding a midfielder to their squad, and this latest news regarding Bergvall may force the North London club’s hand.
