Blenders of ‘World’s Best Whisky 2025’ Join Queen’s Park Burns Day

QUEEN’S PARK FC is delighted to welcome Glenallachie to the Black and White Lounge, as hospitality partners on Saturday, January 31.

Blender Ronan Currie, from the distillery based in Aberlour, will present the brand’s 12-year-old Speyside malt, crowned the World’s Best Single Malt in 2025, to all guests at our annual Burns Day event.

Packages include a match ticket to our William Hill Championship match with Arbroath, a three-course Scottish themed meal as well as a stadium tour and inclusive drinks package.

QP head of commercial Kieran Koszary added: “We are delighted to welcome Glenallachie back to Queen’s Park for what is always a special day in the hospitality calendar.

“Our annual Burns event will include a special Scottish theme to pay tribute to the Bard and we are sure the remaining spaces will be snapped up soon, so guests should book sooner rather than later.

“The feedback we have received this season has been phenomenal and this special day looks set to be no different.”

Guests will receive a match ticket as well as: 

• Exclusive Behind the Scenes Tour of The city Stadium (beginning 12.30pm)
• Special themed three-course pre-match meal (from 12.45pm)
• Inclusive drinks package pre and post-match – wine, selection of bottled beers, spirits and Tennent’s Lager on draught.
• Table Service Throughout.
• Whisky tasting from Glenallachie Distillery.
• Pre-match Question and Answer session with a former Queen’s Park player.
• Executive padded seating in the centre section of the stand for the big match (kick-off 3pm)
• Return to the Black and White Lounge at the end of the game for resumption of inclusive bar.
• Post-match pie with tea or coffee, followed by presentations & player interviews.
