Tottenham player tipped to leave this summer unless he displaces £17m star
A pundit has ruled out a January move for a Tottenham star struggling for minutes, but he believes something drastic has to change for the player at N17.
Tottenham have already sold Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace, and a couple of more players could be on their way out in search of regular game time.
One of these is Radu Dragusin, who is reportedly putting his foot down to join AS Roma after the Serie A club made an approach.
Antonin Kinsky has also been linked with a move away from Spurs after starting just twice across all competitions this season.
Antonin Kinsky backed to stay at Tottenham until the summer
Former Czech defender Karel Tvaroh has now spoken about the Tottenham goalkeeper’s situation, suggesting that the 22-year-old will remain at the North London club until the end of the season.
However, he claimed that Kinsky will leave in search of regular game time in the summer if he does not displace Guglielmo Vicairo as the club’s number one over the coming months.
When asked about Kinsky’s situation at Tottenham, Tvaroh told iSport.cz: “It’s a big club, they play in the Champions League, but not a good atmosphere there. Tonda came in a very turbulent period and currently he is clearly second choice, but that may change with the arrival of a new coach.
“I think he is quite patient and will last at Spurs until the summer. If he stays in the Premier League, I see a 50/50 chance, whether he will stay in Tottenham or maybe get more space in another team. But he will definitely go after the greatest possible workload.”
Spurs’ stance on their goalkeeping situation revealed
Over recent days, we have heard that Tottenham received a loan approach from Wolves for Antonin Kinsky.
However, according to Alasdair Gold Spurs are not likely to make any changes to their goalkeeping department this month.
The journalist explained that the Lilywhites would only consider loaning Kinsky out if they were able to bring another shot-stopper through the door.
