What A Frustrating Afternoon At Villa Park

It felt like it was going to be one of those afternoons, and it was. A chance to build momentum, a chance to make a statement, and once again we didn’t take that flaming glaring chance. The frustration in losing to Everton at home is that whenever results elsewhere fall in our favour, whenever there is an invitation to progress, we always flipping hesitate. There was a shortage of effort, little conviction was shown, and there was no urgency when it mattered. Opportunities like this do not come often in this league, and the most frustrating part is knowing we rarely seem to grab them when they do. UTV
