Serie A official Week 16 line-ups: Inter vs. Lecce
Inter make big changes to their starting XI when hosting a Lecce side decimated by bans, with Ange-Yoan Bonny, Andy Diouf and Henrikh Mkhitaryan stepping in.
It kicks off at San Siro at 19.45 GMT (20.45 CET).
These fixtures, along with tomorrow’s Verona-Bologna and Como-Milan, are rescheduled from December for the Supercoppa Italiana.
The Nerazzurri remain at the top of the Serie A table, but the opportunity to break even further clear than three points was stalled by their 2-2 thriller against Napoli.
Hakan Calhanoglu limped off in that match and is out for several big games, unlikely to return until mid-February.
Denzel Dumfries, Matteo Darmian, Josep Martinez, Raffaele Di Gennaro and Tomas Palacios are also long-term absentees.
Cristian Chivu rotates the squad for this match, resting Lautaro Martinez and Federico Dimarco, giving rare starts to Andy Diouf, Francesco Acerbi, Carlos Augusto and Ange-Yoan Bonny.
Lecce are without suspended Ylber Ramadani, Lameck Banda and Kialonda Gaspar following the chaotic 2-1 home defeat to Parma, which they ended with nine men on the field.
It means they scraped just one point from the last three rounds, but that was a surprising 1-1 draw away to Juventus.
Francesco Camarda is also out with a shoulder injury for at least two weeks, joining Medon Berisha on the treatment table.
Nikola Stulic therefore leads the attack with support from Riccardo Sottil and Santiago Pierotti, while Omri Gandelman just arrived from KAA Gent and is thrown straight into the starting XI, with Oumar Ngom from Estrela Amadora on the bench.
