Bills Fan Laughing At Will Campbell Injury Has Patriots Fans Fuming
The New England Patriots got to 10-2 on Sunday with a gritty 26-20 win in Cincinnati over the Bengals, but the Pats suffered multiple crushing injuries. Included in the misfortune was rookie left tackle Will Campbell, who left the game in the third quarter with a knee injury and was carted into the locker room.
Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel didn’t have any further info on Campbell’s injury during the postgame presser.
With Pats fans shaking their head over the rookie’s bad luck, rival fans looked on with interest, wondering if New England’s offensive line will be compromised in a big way for the rest of the season.
One Buffalo Bills fan, in particular, stooped about as low as it gets when it comes to fan interaction, deciding to make light of Campbell’s knee injury on X.
The Bills fan was exposed by independent Patriots content creator @patsplanetmedia, with plenty of additional fans chiming in with criticism of the Bills fan’s tasteless take.
Campbell, 21, was the Patriots’ No. 4 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft out of LSU. The former two-time First Team All-SEC selection has improved steadily throughout his rookie NFL season, and he’s already established an excellent rapport and friendship with Patriots QB Drake Maye.
