5 G/A in 7 games: "Unbelievable" star will break Tottenham's seven-game unbeaten streak vs Man Utd - view

0 1

Manchester United face Tottenham Hotspur on the road in Saturday’s Premier League clash.

The Red Devils are presently eighth in the standings with 17 points, just one adrift of the top four.

United are only goal difference behind Spurs, but the recent meetings between the clubs have been fairly one-sided.

Spurs are unbeaten in the previous seven encounters. They have won the last four including the 2025 Europa League final.

The final defeat at San Mames not only cost United a Champions League spot, but also £100 million in potential revenue.

United have the opportunity to avenge that result at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend.

In our opinion, Bryan Mbeumo will play a major role as United seek to beat Spurs for the first time in three years.

The 26-year-old has had a brilliant start to his Red Devils career since his summer switch from Brentford.

He has already netted five goals and provided one assist from 11 appearances in the right number 10 position.

Mbeumo’s directness and ability to take on defenders has been lauded by United’s faithful.

He should relish the prospect of facing Spurs, given his good record against the north Londoners.

Mbeumo, described as ‘unbelievable‘ by manager Thomas Frank, has accumulated four goals and one assist from his previous seven league meetings, playing for the Bees.

The Cameroon international is likely to come up against Spurs left-back Djed Spence, and it should be an interesting watch.

Spence has had the tendency to make defensive errors in the past. Mbeumo’s high press could exploit that weakness.

A victory over Spurs in Saturday’s early kick-off could send United into the Champions League places before the international break if other results go their way.
