Patriots Fans Should Watch For This Trade Target In Ravens-Dolphins

New England Patriots fans are hoping their team will be buyers ahead of Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.

While edge rusher and secondary are two glaring positions of need, don’t sleep on the Patriots adding playmaking depth. In steps Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.

At just 26 years old, Waddle is a proven commodity, a dynamic talent on the outside and would improve the Patriots’ receiving room as a bona fide top receiving weapon. Plus, Waddle is under contract through 2028. That fits perfectly for the Patriots’ abundant cap space, and times out before Drake Maye will get his big payday.

Even though the Dolphins are coming off a shocking, 34-8, upset over the Falcons, expect them to be sellers. Players at pillar positions like Waddle at wide receiver and Bradley Chubb at edge rusher should yield the largest returns.

That’s if the Dolphins are sellers. ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques reported that there is optimism inside the Dolphins building, and the team is not looking to offload players.

Plus, it would take top assets going to Miami for the Dolphins to be willing to trade their best wide receiver within the division.
