Hampus Lindholm Opens Up On Return To Bruins Lineup From Injury

Hampus Lindholm believes he has a lot to build on after returning to the lineup Saturday following a three-game absence due to a lower-body injury.

The Boston Bruins defenseman finished the 4-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche with 20:44 of ice time, but was a minus-2. However, the defenseman said he felt good and believes he has plenty to build on in his return from injury.

“I felt good,” Lindholm said, as seen on NESN’s postgame coverage on Saturday. “It’s nice to be out there with the guys, it’s nice to be playing. Tough game out there, but lots of stuff to build on for myself, and, as a team, get back on the horse.”

Although Lindholm did return to the lineup on Saturday, he isn’t sure if he will be able to play on Sunday.

Given that Lindholm just returned from an injury, he said he wants to see how his body responds in the morning before knowing if he will play on Sunday.

“I’ll know tomorrow, it’s hard to say right now after the game,” Lindholm said. “I hope so. Get back on the horse, we have a game tomorrow, which is good for us.”

The Bruins are on the road to play the Utah Mammoth on Sunday.
