I think it’s fair to say that the first produces better results than the latter.
Our relegation season was characterised by utter chaos.
Look at Forest now.
We’ve had more chaos this season - selection-wise/results-wise and with defensive mistakes/sendings off etc. than we had for pretty much all last season
Now is surely the time to try to restore some equilibrium. Let’s try to get closer to that calm, efficient machine that steam-rollered L1. I’d be interested in TW’s mindset, but in my opinion now is the time for him to show some calm, strong leadership.
Have some tough conversations if necessary, but let people know - Davies especially - that he will be supported, and what does he need in that respect
It would appear that we have some issues, and have made some mistakes recruitment-wise.
I can’t see how creating more upheaval is likely to improve things.
Mistakes or not this squad is still very decent at this level - let’s not do a Forest/repeat the mistakes of the relegation season
I say all of this by the way as someone who has had some issues with some of CD’s decisions this season
