October List: 18 senior Man United players away on international duty

Manchester United head into the October international break on a high, after cruising to a comfortable 2-0 Premier League win over Sunderland last Saturday.

Manager Ruben Amorim has been under immense scrutiny following a nightmare start to the 2025/26 campaign.

A win over the Black Cats has eased some pressure on Amorim, at least until the blockbuster clash with Liverpool.

Here we look at some of the United players who are now poised to feature in the upcoming international break.

Club captain Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot have been called up by the Portugal squad, hoping to maintain their 100 per cent record in the World Cup qualifying group stage.

Patrick Dorgu links up with Denmark, hoping to extend their unbeaten streak in upcoming ties against Belarus and Greece.

Turkey suffered a 6-0 hammering at the hands of Spain last time out, and Altay Bayindir will hope his side get back to winning ways against Bulgaria, followed by a clash with Georgia at home.

Benjamin Sesko is in fine form, with two goals in two United games.

He will hope to make a similar impact for Slovenia as his side play Kosovo and Switzerland.

The African section of qualifying is also underway.

Amad Diallo is ready to represent Ivory Coast, who sit top of Group F with an impressive 20 points.

Bryan Mbeumo has enjoyed a bright start to his life in Manchester and will aim to make a decisive impact for Cameroon who are set to lock horns with Mauritius and Angola.

Senne Lammens could enjoy a dream week with Belgium.

He made his debut in the United shirt and claimed the Man of the Match award against Sunderland.

He could also make his debut for Belgium against North Macedonia on 10th October.

Youngster James Scanlon continues his senior journey with Gibraltar, even though he has yet to make his United debut.

Casemiro and Matheus Cunha are in the Brazil squad, while Manuel Ugarte gears up for action with Uruguay in the CONMEBOL qualifying.

Diego Leon is also headed to Osaka after being awarded a first call-up to the senior Paraguay squad.

United loanees Rasmus Hojlund, Andre Onana and Marcus Rashford are also selected for the Denmark, Cameroon and England squad respectively.

At youth level, Ayden Heaven is in the England U20 squad and Leny Yoro will feature for France U21s.
