Roma breathe sigh of relief over Wesley’s fitness
The new Roma signing underwent medical tests in the capital this morning upon returning from international duty.
Multiple sources, including Sky Sport Italia and Il Messaggero, say that examinations have ruled out a serious injury and only highlighted a muscle overload, which means the Brazilian will be available for the next match against Torino.

Roma pick possible Wesley replacement vs. Torino
Wesley already scored his first Roma goal in the opening league game of the 2025-26 campaign, giving the Giallorossi a 1-0 win over Bologna at the Stadio Olimpico.
If Wesley is rested against Torino, Devyne Rensch will likely be deployed as a right wing-back.
Due to his minor injury, Wesley didn’t even go on the bench in Brazil’s latest game against Bolivia.
