Scottish business success celebrates 150 years with Queen's Park
IT’S a special year for Dunns Food and Drinks – and they’ve chosen to celebrate with Queen’s Park again.
The company hits a milestone anniversary in 2025 – a year that also sees their partnership with the Spiders extend into a third year.
Formed in 1875, the successful wholesale suppliers are turning a century and a half this year and will continue to sponsor the Queen’s Park man of the match award, and continue as valued partners in our hospitality suite – the Black and White Lounge.
Not only will two of Scotland’s historic institutions team up again – a charity close to Dunns will also benefit from the continuing deal.
was formed in Glasgow but now based in Blantyre, and is a specialist one stop shop for food and drinks requirements of all natures.
The company is also a huge supporter of AWARE Scotland which provides young people with life experiences, days out and respite breaks.
First-team player Louis Longridge has hosted coaching sessions with the charity in the past two seasons and representatives from AWARE were also welcomed to a game last season where young people were treated to mascot experiences as well as shadowing club staff for a look behind the scenes on a matchday.
Not only that, but Dunns are also proud partners of the Spiders’ ball attendants, providing half-time snacks for the youngsters on the touchline as well as a post-match bottle of Red Kola to the Spiders’ man of the match.
Dunns Food and Drink operations director, Julie Dunn, said: “We are proud to partner with Queen’s Park to support such a worthy cause for a third season.
“Our company has a long history of giving back to the community over the last 150 years, and this initiative aligns perfectly with our values. We have loved to see the positive impact that this partnership has had on the lives of so many young people in the last two years and look forward to achieving even more across season 2025/26.”
Over the next year, the partnership will again deliver a range of initiatives, including:
- Matchday experience: AWARE Scotland and the young people the charity supports will again be welcomed to a match with behind the scenes opportunities.
- Mascot opportunity: A young person supported by the charity will also be chosen as the team mascot for the match and featured on Queen’s Park social media platforms.
- Bucket collections: Funds raised at future Queen’s Park home games will support AWARE Scotland’s vital work.
- Training and match experiences: Dunns Food and Drinks will offer young people the chance to attend training sessions, games, and press conferences.
- Goodie bags: All participants will receive Dunns Food and Drinks goodie bags and half-time snacks will also be supplied to the ball attendants at each game this season.
“We are delighted to help the company support AWARE Scotland once again and it is always a treat to see the young people enjoying their day with the club be it at a match or in one of the training and coaching sessions.
“Congratulations to Dunns and we look forward to celebrating many more years of successful business with the firm.”
Chris Glancey, Founder of AWARE Scotland, said: “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of Dunns Food and Drinks and Queen’s Park.
“This partnership provides invaluable opportunities for young people who have faced challenges. By offering experiences like this, we can help build confidence, resilience, and a brighter future.”
