NBA All-Time Rank No. 16: Nikola Jokić

Ranking the top 50 players in NBA history…

16. Nikola Jokić

Jokić has revolutionized the center position with his unique skill set, and he has a chance to finish in the top 10 before his career is over.

Drafted No. 41 overall by the Denver Nuggets in 2014, Jokić debuted in 2015 after playing overseas.

As of August 2025, Jokić has averaged 21.8 points, 10.9 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game in his career, showcasing unprecedented playmaking and feel for the game for a big man.

He has won three NBA MVP awards (2021, 2022, 2024), becoming the first second-round pick to do so.

Jokić led the Nuggets to their first NBA championship in 2023, earning Finals MVP with averages of 30.2 points, 14.0 rebounds and 7.2 assists against the Miami Heat.

A seven-time All-Star and seven-time All-NBA selection, including five First Team nods, he holds the record for the most triple-doubles in a playoff run (10 in 2023).

Not only does the guy fill up the stat sheet; he wins. Jokić has transformed Denver into a perennial contender. He also won Olympic bronze with Serbia in 2016 and silver in 2024.

Despite early skepticism about his athleticism, Joker’s efficiency has silenced critics.

Jokić belongs in this discussion alongside the all-time greats. He’s a perfect blend of old-school post play and modern versatility.

But who ranks ahead of Jokić at No. 15 all-time?
