Amorim to make 3 big decisions: How Man Utd could line up (3-4-2-1) vs Fulham

Manchester United will be eyeing their first victory of the Premier League campaign when they face Fulham on the road later today.

Ahead of the game, manager Ruben Amorim is likely to make a few changes from the 1-0 loss to Arsenal in the curtain-raiser at Old Trafford.

Predicted Line-up:

Altay Bayindir’s error contributed to the Gunners opening the scoring. He should have been better prepared for the physical element in the box.

We fully expect Andre Onana to be reinstated between the sticks against the Cottagers.

Ahead of him, it could be the same back three from the close defeat to the Gunners.

Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt were brilliant on the day with their aerial duels and comfortably saw off the threat from new Arsenal signing Viktor Gyokeres.

Luke Shaw complemented the duo perfectly and impressed with his link-up play with Patrick Dorgu.

Dorgu should continue at left wing-back, but we anticipate a change on the opposite end with Amad Diallo coming in for Diogo Dalot at right wing-back.

With Antonee Robinson having just returned after surgery, Fulham may not possess the same attacking threat with his overlapping runs on the left flank.

Hence, we would go with the more dynamic and attacking Amad over Dalot.

In midfield, there appears no need for a change. Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes look poised to keep their places from the recent defeat to Mikel Arteta’s side.

Amorim described Casemiro as one of the best players from the Arsenal game, which should assure his berth ahead of Manuel Ugarte in the number six role.

Ugarte lost possession on several occasions after coming on last weekend and looked nervous. The Uruguayan may feature off the bench once more.

In the final third, Amorim has an easy decision to make. Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo are guaranteed starters from the attacking midfield positions.

The duo were brilliant on their debuts against Arsenal and were unlucky not to score.

Benjamin Sesko should make his full debut up top. Mason Mount had a good outing versus Arsenal, but Sesko has been brought in to provide the goals and must start as the main striker.
