U19s Host Kilmarnock In Season Opener

Hibs Under-19s host Kilmarnock on the opening day of the 2025/26 CAS Elite Under-19 League season!

Darren McGregor's side head into the new campaign as CAS Elite Under-18 League champions and will look to start off their title defence with a strong performance.

The match will kick-off at 3pm on Monday 28 July at HTC.

Fixtures

  • Hibernian U19s Vs. Kilmarnock U19s - Mon, Jul 28th 2025, 13:34

The Lowdown

The wee Hibees have played through a challenging pre-season fixture list - taking on Sheffield United, Shamrock Rovers and Chesterfield in behind-closed-doors friendlies.

Development Squad friendlies have also largely featured players in our Under-19s squad. Victories against senior teams Haddington Athletic, Berwick Rangers and Whitehill Welfare provided stern physical tests for the Hibs youngsters ahead of the new league season.

Whitehill Welfare were the side's last opponent, with Luke Davidson, Callum Macdonald and Logan Jimenez all on the scoresheet as Hibs earned a great 5-2 win at Ferguson Park.

The Visitors

Kilmarnock finished fourth in the CAS Elite Under-18 League last season, taking 50 points from 30 matches.

St Mirren only just pipped the Rugby Park outfit to third spot on goal difference in what was a strong campaign for both teams.

The wee Hibees and Killie met four times last season in the league, with Hibs prevailing twice in total.

A 1-1 draw in the first meeting between the two sides was followed up by a 2-0 win for Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Hibs would then thrash Killie 7-2 in the midst of their title challenge at HTC, before winning 4-0 in Ayrshire to secure the league title in May.

How To Watch

Kick-off is confirmed for 3pm at HTC.

Supporters from both clubs are welcome to come and watch the action free of charge!
