Celtics Role Player Makes Hilarious Admission Before Season

Jordan Walsh has played sparingly across his two seasons with the Boston Celtics, but that doesn’t stop him from talking trash.

Walsh probably won’t let anything stop him from doing it, as a matter of fact.

“I be talking crazy,” Walsh admitted to reporters on Thursday, as shared by Forbes’ Bobby Krivitsky. “I feel good, I’m starting it. I usually don’t start it, though. If somebody says anything to me, then it’s like, I’m giving it all I’ve got. I just like the sport of talking trash.”

Sure…

Walsh was particularly vocal during the 2025 NBA Summer League, being ejected from one game for receiving multiple technical fouls before returning a couple of night later and receiving another for words directed at an opposing bench.

The Celtics probably don’t want him receiving techs every night once the regular season rolls around, especially considering he’s expected to step up in the absence of some key contributors from the last couple of seasons. Joe Mazzulla will still want him to keep the fire, though.
