Napoli face price obstacle in pursuit of Sevilla’s Juanlu
Napoli are facing a stubborn Sevilla in negotiations for Juanlu Sanchez, as the cash-strapped Andalusian side are standing firm on their demands, reports from Italy claim.
In today’s edition of the Corriere dello Sport, via TMW, reports suggest that Sevilla are demanding no less than €20 million for the 21-year-old.
Napoli, however, have ceased their bidding at €12 million plus €2 million in bonuses – an offer the La Liga outfit are not prepared to accept.
Decision time for Napoli over Juanlu bid
The reports suggest that Napoli themselves are firmly in the belief that a total package of €14 million is appropriate for the versatile player, who can play as both a right-winger or a right-back.
The Serie A side are considering whether or not to increase their bid to €15 million, although this is still way below Sevilla’s valuation of the player.
The Spanish club are facing financial difficulties and therefore wish to get every penny they can for the Spanish U21 international.
