Uniss joins the Bay

WE ARE pleased to welcome defender Uniss Kargbo to the Bay.

Uniss came through the Cork City Academy alongside twin brother Issa.

Progressing to the first team he was part of the side which won the League of Ireland First Division title and secured promotion to the Premier Division.

Uniss moved to Australia in November 2022, where he played for Gwelup Croatia SC and Dianella White Eagles SC.

The 23-year-old joined Bala Town in June 2024 and made a total of 29 appearances, scoring once for the Maes Tegid side last season.

“My first game was actually here for Bala in pre-season last year,” said Uniss who is looking forward to playing in front of the Bay fans.

 “I’m excited – last time I was here they were roasting me – hopefully this time it will different!”

And of the challenge ahead in the JD Cymru Premier, Uniss added: “Anything can happen – any team can beat any team.”
