Rafael Devers has hit a lot of home runs so far in his career, but he delivered a new swing for the Red Sox for the first time Saturday.
The Red Sox trailed 5-0 to the Atlanta Braves before the offense found a rhythm. Jarren Duran drove in four runs, and Devers added another. Boston fought back to tie the game 6-6 heading to the ninth inning.
Devers led off the ninth inning and quickly delivered the winning swing against Pierce Johnson when he smashed a curveball for a walk-off home run, the first of his career.

The gritty comeback marks the win of the year so far from the Red Sox, who enter Sunday with the chance to win the series. Boston rebounded well after Friday’s loss and needs to kick it into gear in the continuation of a 10-game homestand.
