£70m EPL winger involved in 18 goals this term has now held talks with Man Utd ahead of summer move

Bournemouth attacking midfielder Antoine Semenyo has held talks with Manchester United ahead of a potential summer move, according to talkSPORT.

The Red Devils are keen on recruiting the services of the Ghana international, with head coach Ruben Amorim reportedly fond of him, and it appears he also wants to join them.

Semenyo plays on both wings and as a number 9, and he has scored 11 times and assisted seven times in 40 appearances so far this term for the Cherries after ending last term with eight goals and three assists in 33 league appearances.

Man United could do with the versatility and quality of the 25-year-old going forward as Amorim looks to impress next term after an underwhelming and disappointing domestic campaign in 2024-25.

The £70 million-rated Bournemouth star has proven himself over the last two campaigns and could be perfect to help solve the goalscoring woes of the Red Devils.

Both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have disappointed in front of goal this term, and Amorim is desperate to get in attackers capable of delivering consistently.

Semenyo fits the bill, and Man United could also land both Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Matheus Cunha and Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap alongside the Ghana international, and getting those three could change their fortunes on the pitch.

Having such a talented attacking trio could be enough to get the Red Devils firing on all cylinders again, but the quality of business they can do this summer will be dependent on outgoings, and some high earners could be on their way out of the Old Trafford club in the coming weeks.

The likes of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho are expected to be sold, while Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof are out of contract at the end of the campaign and will be released.
