Exciting Tottenham Hotspur update emerges for fans of Fabio Paratici
A lot of Italian publications have talked up Tottenham’s chances of reappointing Fabio Paratici in a formal role this summer, and a fresh update has now explained why a return to the North London club now looks increasingly likely for the Italian director.
Over recent months, it has been widely reported that Daniel Levy is trying his best to bring Paratici back to Spurs in an official role once his FIFA ban elapses on June 20.
Tottenham’s pursuit of the 52-year-old has been boosted since it emerged at the start of last month that AC Milan’s efforts to appoint Paratici as their sporting director have collapsed.
Since that move fell through, Spurs have been installed as the favourites to appoint Paratici in a formal role, and it appears that the return of the Tottenham fan favourite is now getting closer.
Tottenham are in a strong position to reappoint Fabio Paratici
A fresh report from TuttoMercatoWeb has now said that the hypothesis of the 52-year-old returning to Tottenham is ‘increasingly strong’ and quite likely to happen soon.
The report says that this is primarily down to Levy’s admiration of the Italian, who ‘never left’ the Spurs chairman’s thoughts during his FIFA and FIGC-imposed ban over the last two years.
The outlet explains that the relationship between the pair continues to be very cordial, and following a difficult season for the Lilywhites, Levy has now decided to bring the former Juventus man back to the club.
The publication adds that Paratici is expected to return to Hotspur Way when his ban expires next month and he will play an active and direct role in the club’s summer recruitment.
Paratici has a big decision to make at Spurs this summer
If the 52-year-old does return, one of his first tasks at hand might be to identify a new head coach for Tottenham, with Ange Postecoglou’s future at the club far from secure.
In fact, some sources have already reported that Fabio Paratici will have the final say on who takes over as Tottenham head coach this summer.
A lot of Spurs fans would be happy that it is the Italian rather than Levy making the decision, given the Tottenham chairman’s track record of managerial hires over the last six years.
