Preview: Celtic (A)

0 3

The Hibees travel to Glasgow this weekend as we take on Celtic at Celtic Park; kick-off at 3pm on Saturday 10 May.

Fixtures

  • Celtic Vs. Hibernian - Sat, May 10th 2025, 15:00

The race for third place continues with the Hibees currently three points clear of Aberdeen with three games to play.

We come into this one off the back of a 3-1 win over Dundee United last time out - with Martin Boyle, Mykola Kuharevich and Dwight Gayle on target at Easter Road.

That result made it eight straight victories at home in all competitions!

TEAM NEWS

Joe Newell and Rudi Molotnikov miss out due to injury, whilst Hyeokkyu Kwon is unavailable to play against his parent club.

David Gray will provide a full team news update when he speaks to the media on Friday afternoon.

THE VISITORS

Celtic were crowned 2024/25 William Hill Premiership champions last month after a 5-0 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice.

The Hoops added the League Cup to their trophy cabinet earlier this season and take on Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final at the end of this month.

This will be the fourth time we have travelled to Celtic Park this season - and the sixth time we have played the Glasgow side in all competitions.

The last time the two sides met at Parkhead, Celtic ran out 2-0 winners in the Scottish Cup Quarter-Final.

David Gray's side can take confidence from our performances against this Hoops this season, beating Brendan Rodgers' team 2-1 at Easter Road in February.
