A fairer way with Season Tickets (21 replies)
If you buy a season ticket for next year ... 23 home games in the Championship ... and pay, say £490, for it, then that's £21.30 per game average, a massive undercut of the amount the Club could get for that ticket
If you can't attend any game then you must put your ticket up for resale through the club to be sold at the match day price for that area - that way the club can maximise revenue.
If you don't put the ticket up for resale and don't attend then you are fined £10 from your account - be you child, concession, adult or OAP
This way there is more chance of the ground being full .... and more chance for non-ST holders to get to see more games... and you aren't stealing as much revenue from the club by opting to have a Season Ticket
By doing it this way then you aren't punished for not turning up to games that wouldn't have sold out anyway
