Al Nassr seeks Premier League reinforcement worth €113 million to Join Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr are set to continue their spending spree, targeting a Premier League midfielder with a massive offer. The Saudi club is determined to build a squad capable of challenging for titles.

As the 2024/25 season nears its end, the management of Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo‘s team, has begun working on the transfer market, as they seek to surround the Portuguese forward in the best possible way to go in search of titles both locally and internationally.

In this context, after signing Jhon Durán from Aston Villa, the Arab team has once again set its sights on the Premier League, and would be willing to make a strong economic investment to sign a new offensive midfielder to partner the Portuguese on the field.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Al-Nassr is interested in Mohammed Kudus, a 24-year-old midfielder who plays for West Ham, and could offer up to 85.5 million pounds sterling, that is, 113 million dollars for the player’s card.

Continuing with the information, the cited source added that Kudus has a termination clause of 120 million pounds sterling for foreign teams, while for Premier League clubs it is 150 million of the same currency. Despite this, he added that the Arab team is confident in getting him out for a lower figure.

This is the second time that Al-Nassr has been interested in Kudus, since in the January transfer window they looked for the Ghanaian, but they were met with the refusal to negotiate it by West Ham, because he is considered a key piece for coach Graham Potter.

On the other hand, regarding the present the 24-year-old midfielder, his season is not the best compared to the previous one. Although he is usually a regular starter for Potter, his scoring record has dropped, as he has only contributed three goals and three assists in the 30 games he has played. This drop could open the doors to his departure.

Other Premier League targets

In addition to Kudus, according to The Sun, there are three other Premier League players who are on Al-Nassr’s radar. They are Kaoru Mitoma of Brighton, whom they also sought in January, Antoine Semenyo of Bournemouth and Luis Díaz of Liverpool.

Al-Nassr’s pursuit of Kudus and other Premier League stars highlights their ambition to build a squad capable of competing at the highest level.
