Eagles Star Wideout Hilariously Trolls Patriots, Philadephia Fans

Patriots fans who dream of seeing A.J. Brown in a New England uniform received a bitter taste in their mouths Thursday.

Brown is an eccentric personality in the NFL, and he showed that off when he posted a video to Instagram captioned, “The wait is finally over.” The Philadelphia Eagles star pulled out a No. 11 Patriots jersey off frame, teasing that it was his.

Instead, it was a Julian Edelman jersey that was autographed by the three-time Super Bowl champion. Brown also revealed an autographed Tom Brady jersey and was delighted to receive the gifts from the New England legends.

“… I know Eagles fans just weren’t being hot. Boom, boom,” Brown said while imagining what Philly fans were thinking seeing the Patriots jersey. “Man, I just be playing, man. I play too much, man. I like to have fun.”

Brown continued to express his appreciation for Edelman and Brady for sending him their autographed jerseys. The All-Pro wide receiver considers Edelman one of his favorites to watch, and the feeling was mutual when the Super Bowl LIII MVP dropped a note in Brown’s locker before Super Bowl LIX.

It was a slight disappointment for Patriots fans, but Edelman still kept their hopes alive.

“All day bro. Feel free to rock 11 when you sign #FoxboroForever,” Edelman commented on Brown’s post.

Brown is still committed to the Eagles despite his love for Edelman and the Patriots. However, fans might keep the hope of seeing him play for New England alive even after his playful Instagram post.
