European club in "advanced negotiations" to sign £40m United star with 8-G/A in 2025

The club are likely to make multiple additions to the squad, but it could depend on player sales.
Journalist Uriel Lugt has now revealed that Real Betis have entered “advanced negotiations” to buy Antony.
The Brazilian signed for the La Liga outfit on loan last winter. Betis want to acquire him permanently.
United poised to part ways with Antony
The 25-year-old has failed to live up to expectations at United since his £82 million move from Ajax in 2022.
Antony has managed just 12 goals and five assists from 96 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.
He was loaned out to Betis last winter where he has transformed his fortunes with eight goal involvements in 14 games.
Betis sporting director Manu Fajardo recently admitted that the club will do everything to retain Antony’s services for next season.
It appears that Betis are now exploring a permanent transfer for the right-sided winger, valued at £40 million by the Red Devils.
Betis have not spent more than £26m on a player in their history but could be willing to make a bigger outlay to purchase Antony.
Antony looks poised to leave the Red Devils in the summer, having failed to impress manager Ruben Amorim earlier this season.
The club should assess all offers on the table before negotiating with Betis. They could receive a better proposal from elsewhere.
La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are also monitoring the performances of Antony.
Diego Simeone’s side could easily outbid Betis to the forward if their interest in genuine.
