NFL Draft Expert Reveals ‘Perfect’ Outcome For ‘Interesting’ Patriots

The New England Patriots have just under two weeks for final preparations leading into the 2025 NFL Draft.

New England already made several improvements in free agency with a new-look defense and finally adding a top receiver in Stefon Diggs. The Patriots can really round out the roster with a quality draft, something they’ve struggled to show in recent seasons under both Bill Belichick and Jerod Mayo.

ESPN’s Matt Miller, Jordan Reid and Field Yates took a crack at predicting their mock draft for the Patriots and came away with this result of picks:

4. Will Campbell, OT, LSU
38. Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State
69. Tate Ratledge, G, Georgia
77. Joshua Farmer, DT, Florida State
106. Kyle Kennard, Edge, South Carolina
144. Trevor Etienne, RB, Georgia
171. Issac TeSlaa, WR, Arkansas
220. Maxen Hook, S, Toledo
238. Jackson Woodward, LB, UNLV

“The Patriots can check off several high-priority needs by identifying a left tackle to protect Drake Maye, adding two playmakers at wide receiver and a running back capable of making an impact right away,” ESPN’s trio wrote. “We can’t forget about adding front-seven defenders for new coach Mike Vrabel, so let’s go with scheme fits in Farmer and Kennard.”
