Tottenham discuss three managers in Ange Postecoglou succession plan
A big update has emerged on the future of Ange Postecoglou, with Tottenham thought to have formulated a three-man shortlist, but the North London club’s top managerial target may prove difficult to get.
The speculation over Ange Postecoglou’s future has once again reached hyperdrive after Tottenham’s latest defeat on Sunday to Fulham, which was the club’s 15th loss of the season in 29 league matches so far.

Over recent days, we have already heard reports that Spurs have contacted Andoni Iraola regarding replacing Postecoglou in the summer.
It has even been revealed by sources close to the Bournemouth boss’s camp that Iraola is open to taking over the N17 hot seat at the end of the season.
Tottenham have a plan for after Ange Postecoglou
Journalist Ben Jacobs has now become the latest to confirm that Iraola is indeed near the top of Tottenham Hotspur’s wishlist to take over from Postecoglou.
However, he explains that the Cherries will not let their head coach go without a fight and are expected to hold talks over a new deal with the former Rayo Vallecano boss.
Jacobs reveals that Marcos Silva and Thomas Frank have also been discussed by Tottenham in their succession planning, but the Lilywhites still retain hope that Postecoglou would be able to turn the current project around.
Spurs may face Andoni Iraola competition in the summer
One can understand why Spurs are keen on Iraola as he has done a fabulous job at Bournemouth and his appointment would represent a certain level of tactical continuity from Postecoglou.
However, Tottenham may not be the only one after their Spaniard. It was reported last month that Real Madrid have identified Iraola as a potential replacement for Carlo Ancelotti.
Spurs may find it difficult to persuade the 42-year-old, especially if he feels he could wait and get better offers in the future.
