Daniel Levy tells Ange Postecoglou what he must do to save his Tottenham job
Daniel Levy and the Tottenham hierarchy have already met with Ange Postecoglou to make it clear to the Australian what he needs to achieve this season in order to still be in the job at the start of next campaign.
Tottenham’s latest loss against Fulham has left the Lilywhites languishing in 14th place in the Premier League table, 13 points behind sixth-place Newcastle and 10 points adrift of the top half of the table.
Over recent days, speculation has suggested that Spurs have already identified potential candidates to replace Postecoglou at the end of the season.
The Spurs head coach has now allegedly been informed what he needs to achieve over the next two months to still be in the N17 hot seat next summer.

Daniel Levy sets Tottenham target for Ange Postecoglou
TBR Football have now claimed that Levy has informed the 59-year-old that securing European football for next term is the minimum requirement to stay in the job.
The Tottenham chairman is thought to have met with Postecoglou over recent weeks to convey this message, explaining to him exactly what he needs to deliver in the final run-in.
However, the report states that the North London club are aware that parting ways with their head coach now will not speed up their chances of landing one of their top targets.
According to the update, three different Premier League managers are currently in Tottenham’s sights as they prepare for a potential managerial change in the summer.
Spurs do not want to pay release clause of two Premier League managers
TBR Football say that Andoni Iraola, Thomas Frank and Marco Silva are the three coaches who top the Lilywhites’ wishlist.
However, it is pointed out that Frank has a £9m release clause in his contract while Silva has one worth £8m, with Tottenham reluctant to pay such amounts for those two managers.
The publication also backs up what we have heard from other sources over recent days by confirming that Iraola’s camp are making it known that the Spaniard does have an interest in the Spurs job.
