Pork (12 replies)
What a meat! Cheap, delicious and so many things you can do with it.
I reckon I eat something derived from a pig at least 3 times a week.
I'm going to cook a shoulder of pork in the slow cooker next weekend and batch what I don't use.
Pork scratchings. I love them especially if there's loads of fatty salt on them. Anyone use Cool Hog [coolhog.co.uk] or is there somewhere better? Mr Porky scratchings are ok ish but not the best.
Bacon. With brown sauce.
Sausages. I have to say I like Richmond Irish sausages on toasted bread. With brown sauce.
Ham. I don't mind it.
What are your slow cooked recipes and scratchings you'd recommend?
