Confirmed Man Utd line-up (3-4-2-1) vs Crystal Palace, 6 big changes, Amad starts as striker
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has named his starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have picked up three straight wins in all competitions. They will now be aiming for back-to-back league victories for the first time this term.
Ahead of the Palace game, Amorim has made six changes from the 2-0 Europa League win over FCSB.
Altay Bayindir has started in the last two European games. He drops to the bench for Andre Onana, who has been an undisputed starter in the league this term.
In the back three, Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro come into the XI to partner Lisandro Martinez. Matthijs de Ligt is on the bench.
Noussair Mazraoui starts at right wing-back today, with Diogo Dalot on the opposite end.
Tyrell Malacia, who started on Thursday, is not in the matchday squad and could leave on loan soon.
In central midfield, Toby Collyer has been replaced by Manuel Ugarte. Captain Bruno Fernandes will accompany the Uruguayan star in the heart of the midfield.
Kobbie Mainoo was sensational in the no.10 position against FCSB with a goal and an assist. He has kept his place but has a new partner in Alejandro Garnacho today.
Garnacho was brilliant off the bench in midweek with an assist. Christian Eriksen has dropped to the substitutes’ bench. Amad Diallo gets a surprise start as a striker.
Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have been unconvincing leading the line this season. Diallo has got the nod to operate from the number nine position against Palace.
Confirmed Man Utd line-up (3-4-2-1) vs Crystal Palace: Onana; Yoro, Maguire, Martinez; Mazraoui, Ugarte, Fernandes, Dalot; Garnacho, Mainoo; Diallo.
