Over the last two days, it was reported that Mathys Tel has expressed his desire to leave Bayern Munich in search of more game time. Following this report, the club’s chairman has since given Tel the green light to move.
Several sources have confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur have engaged in direct negotiations with the Bundesliga champions, aiming to bring the 19-year-old to North London before the transfer window closes.

He states that discussions are now shifting towards a face-to-face stage, as Spurs are working hard to convince both the player and his representatives to agree to a move.
It is understood that an agreement between Tottenham and Bayern Munich has already been reached, but the final hurdle remains to secure the approval of the player himself, particularly as competition from rival Premier League clubs has intensified in recent days.
Time is ticking for Spurs
With less than four days remaining before the transfer window slams shut, Tottenham’s urgency is entirely justified, as securing attacking reinforcements remains a priority for Ange Postecoglou’s squad.
Mathys Tel’s ability to operate across the front line makes him an appealing option for Tottenham, but with multiple clubs vying for his signature, Spurs must ensure that their pursuit is not merely being used as leverage for the player to negotiate a more lucrative move elsewhere.
