Team News: Sky Sports Cup Semi-Final

0 0

Grant Scott opts to make three changes to the Hibernian Women XI ahead of today’s Sky Sports Cup Semi-Final versus Aberdeen.

The alterations come following Wednesday’s comfortable 5-0 away victory over Dundee United at Foundation Park.

The first switch sees Linzi Taylor return to the matchday squad after missing out in the midweek and come straight into the starting line-up to make her first start since our convincing 4-0 win over Motherwell at Meadowbank last month.

At full-back, there is also a first start of 2025 for Australian defender Stacey Papadopoulos following two appearances off the bench versus Spartans and United.

The third and final change occurs further up the park, with Kirsty Morrison being restored to the starting line-up. The forward has found the net in both of our matches this year.

Centre-back Poppy Lawson, captain Rachael Boyle and winger Abbie Ferguson are three players making way for the incoming trio.

Kirsten Reilly is handed the captain’s armband ahead of our final four clash.

Forward pair Rosie Livingstone and Kathleen McGovern return from minor injuries to make the bench.
