Tamworth FC player reveals classy gesture from James Maddison
James Maddison and Tamworth goalkeeper Jaz Singh have had a touching interaction on social media, with the latter thanking the Tottenham man for what he did after the final whistle.

While the 3-0 scoreline might be a tad disappointing for Tamworth, given how long they hung on against Spurs, the non-league side can take a lot of heart from the performance they delivered against a team full of multi-millionaire superstars.
It is a game that the Tamworth players will remember for a long time and some of them might even benefit career-wise as a result of being given the limelight.
One of them was winger Beck-Ray Besongbap Enoru, who ran rings around Pedro Porro and the Tottenham defence for much of the game. Another was experienced goalkeeper Jaz Singh, who made some important stops to earn a clean sheet after 90 minutes.

It was a special weekend for Singh, whose partner gave birth to their son the night before the big FA Cup clash against the North London side.
Maddison congratulated the 34-year-old on social media for the big weekend he had, both professionally and personally. The goalkeeper responded by thanking the Tottenham man for taking time out to chat with the Tamworth squad.

Rightly or wrongly, the image that one has of the average Premier League footballer is one of a prima-donna, with many of the game’s biggest stars being seen as self-indulgent and living in a bubble.
In some respects, that is the natural consequence of getting such fame, wealth, and adulation from such a young age.
However, Maddison is among a rare breed of footballers who comes across as a normal bloke and the fact that he took time out to speak to the Tamworth players after the game shows the kind of character he is.
