Fantasy football defense rankings, Week 14: From elite (Steelers) to streamable (Bears)
You’ve got your fantasy football lineup all but set for the week, with a few tweaks to be made here and there as Sunday’s slate of games is ready to kick off.
But you’re trying to optimize your lineup to make sure you get the most points. And that’s why you have to make sure your D/ST position has the best possible squad to win you the week.
That’s what these rankings will help with: A look at the elite, solid, and streamable options that could win you some virtual games in your league.
Let’s break down the Week 14 D/ST tiers:
Elite
1. Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. Browns)
2. Philadelphia Eagles (vs. Panthers)
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs. Raiders)
4. Tennessee Titans (vs. Jaguars)
5. New Orleans Saints (at Giants)
These aren’t just must-starts, they may legitimately help decide your matchup this week. Each of these units (except the Saints) would be considered elite regardless of who they’re playing, but considering the weak offenses they’ll be facing there is zero question here.
Solid
6. Minnesota Vikings (vs. Falcons)
7. Miami Dolphins (vs. Jets)
8. Los Angeles Chargers (at Chiefs)
9. Arizona Cardinals (vs. Seahawks)
10. Jacksonville Jaguars (at Titans)
All home teams facing extremely flawed offenses (or facing the Tennessee Titans).
11. Buffalo Bills (at Rams)
12. Chicago Bears (at 49ers)
13. Cincinnati Bengals (at Cowboys)
14. Atlanta Falcons (at Vikings)
15. San Francisco 49ers (vs. Bears)
The Bears-49ers game is going to be a beautiful, low-scoring mess between one extremely injured offense and one debuting an interim head coach.
