Patriots Rumors: Robert Kraft Snubbed In Latest Hall Of Fame Bid

Robert Kraft appears to have hit another road bump in his campaign for enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame after nearly three decades of owning the New England Patriots.

ESPN’s Don Van Natta Jr. and Adam Schefter reported Thursday night that Kraft will not move forward in the contributor’s committee after the group chose Ralph Hay, who co-founded the National Football League, instead as the lone selection.

Kraft earned the nod as a semifinalist over the last three years but still cannot get the necessary jump toward enshrinement in Canton, Ohio. The growing belief is it may be rather difficult for the Patriots owner to overcome the team’s “SpyGate” and “DeflateGate” scandals in addition to his own scandal surrounding treatment in Jupiter, Fla.

Kraft’s journey gets pushed back another year as the Patriots currently search for momentum in a rebuilding 3-8 season.
