Big second half nets win at Porthmadog

COLWYN BAY Under-19s put in a big second half to twice come from behind to make it five wins out of six in the FAW Reserve League North West tonight (Oct 8) with a 4-2 victory away to Porthmadog’s Development team.

The home side led 1-0 at half-time with a goal from John Littlemore after 12 minutes, and although Nikola Georgiev equalised for the Bay after 52 minutes, Porthmadog were back in front eight minutes later through Kieran Fitzjohn.

The young Seagulls, however, put in a storming finish with goals from Ben Woodmansee (67 minutes, Sam Parry (80 minutes) and Max McGoona (in added time) to claim the three points and maintain their challenge at the top of the table.
