Dev Squad Begin Reserve Cup Campaign  

The Hibs Dev Squad begin their SPFL Reserve Cup campaign on Tuesday afternoon against Livingston Reserves.

The Hibees have been drawn in Group 3 of the Reserve Cup alongside Livingston, Hamilton Academical and Queen’s Park.

The Dev Squad will play each team once, with the winner of the group progressing automatically to the semi-final stage.

In the lead-up to this fixture, Guillaume Beuzelin’s drew 2-2 with Gala Fairydean Rovers last week, with Dean Cleland grabbing both goals at Netherdale against the Lowland League side.

That team was made up of predominantly under-18 youngsters, who have made a positive start to their league campaign so far – the wee Hibees are currently unbeaten in the CAS Elite Youth League after six matches (two wins, four draws).

Livingston Reserves are one of six teams competing in this year’s SPFL Reserve League and The Lions have made a good start to their season so far. They currently sit top of the table with four points after two games.

The match kicks off at 2pm at HTC and supporters from both clubs are welcome to watch the action free of charge!
