I’m pretty sure I remember Martinez bringing on a 3rd cb just before we suffered a similar collapse against either Chelsea or Bournemouth, or was it MoyesI put this mainly (90%) on the players, no excuses for conceding 3, where I think Dyche failed was not bringing on O Brian for Ndiaye and going 5 at the back to see it out, although the way we were cruising then, who could have envisaged what was to happen. O Brian on the pitch and we’re not conceding 3.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing though.
First time in god knows how long that I was actually enjoying a routine win, and I think that’s the first time since James that I’ve really enjoyed a players performance (Ndiaye and Tim)
Even had Keane in my fantasy team (as I needed a £4m player)
Anyway, in this instance, though, yeah I’m fairly sure O’Brien would’ve helped shore things up.
Hindsight, ugh.
