Remember when Garry Cook said.... (1 reply)

Birmingham starting 24-25 season will generate revenue streams that will bring in more money than any other club outside the Premier League bar the relegated clubs from the Premier League, (Who receive roughly £80m over three years !)

I don't blame the club for using its financial muscle to get out League one, it has been going on for decades in championship watching likes of Newcastle and Leicester practically walk it.

Just like Man City, Garry said the club is only as good as the money it generates to compete in the top tier.

I also agree with Dan I on X saying we are not breaking the bank with these signings considering the players we have sold and wages we have saved...

Referring to below

"In League 1 clubs can spend a maximum of 60% of their turnover on wages. Clubs relegated from the Championship into League One are permitted to spend an extra 15 per cent of their turnover on wages for their first season in the division, taking their threshold to 75 per cent. "
