West Ham Talks For ‘Clearly Number One’ Option Continue

West Ham United are continuing talks to bring in Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran and he is ‘clearly the number one’ forward being targeted, according to ExWHUemployee.

 

Hammers boss Julen Lopetegui wants more firepower and technical director Tim Steidten has been working on a host of different options.

 

Aston Villa man Duran is of interest to West Ham and talks have taken place between the two clubs about a possible deal.

 

 

It has been suggested in some quarters that a €35m deal has been agreed between the two clubs, but those claims are wide of the mark and Aston Villa want more than that.

 

Talks are continuing between the two clubs, while West Ham are assessing other options too.

 

 

Duran though is ‘clearly the number one’ forward that West Ham are chasing at present.

 

The attacker struggled for regular game time at Aston Villa last term and the Villa Park side are fully prepared to cash in on him if their asking price is met.

 

 

West Ham have so far not been prepared to do that and are working to try and bring down Villa’s demands for Duran.
