Nick Pivetta Looks To Continue Momentum for Sox

Nick Pivetta will take the mound for the Red Sox in their first game following the All-Star Break. Pivetta is coming off back-to-back starts with double-digit strikeouts, racking up 8 Ks in a row during his most recent start against the Oakland Athletics.

In his career, Pivetta has a 3.80 ERA against the Dodgers with 29 Ks in 5 appearances. He will look to limit a potent Dodgers offense that includes multiple MVP winners, but he won’t have to face Mookie Betts who is still recovering from a fractured wrist suffered on June 16.
