The Rangers game (no replies)
My initial thought was not to go to this because of the potential for problems with 5 - 10k Rangers fans in the pubs and ground, plus not keen on friendlies in general.
However, the game is a memorial match to preserve the legacy of the best player to ever pull on a Blues shirt. I was lucky enough that my first season watching Blues coincided with Francis breaking into the team so he was a huge influence in getting me hooked on going down the Blues.
So I’ve changed my mind and decided it’s a game I really want to go to. I hope Blues fans turn out in numbers and fill the ground to match the support of Rangers on the night to mark the passing of our greatest player. It would be a shame if we were in the minority for this occasion.
