7 fantasy football winners and losers from the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft

The 2024 NFL Draft kicked off in Detroit on Thursday night as more than 200,000 fans packed downtown to watch Caleb Williams become the latest quarterback savior of the Chicago Bears.

And then the real fun began.

With Williams’ going No. 1 overall a foregone conclusion for weeks now, the intrigue started with the No. 2 pick and fantasy managers were certainly paying close attention. A year after Bijan Robinson became the unquestioned fantasy star of the draft (at least as much as any rookie who has never played an NFL down can be in April), managers were paying close attention on Thursday night.
