Barcelona Close To Giving Up On Liverpool And Manchester City Target

 

The 21-year-old winger has been on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in Europe due to his performances in La Liga.

 

He has five assists to his name in ten league appearances this season and Liverpool and Manchester City are amongst the clubs who are chasing him.

 

 

 

Barcelona have also not denied scouting him extensively and have had meetings with the player’s camp.

 

But according to Catalan daily Sport, Barcelona are close to giving up on the prospect of signing Williams in the near future.

 

 

The Barcelona management do not see Williams ending up at the Nou Camp in the upcoming transfer window.

 

The Catalan giants are of the opinion that he will end up signing a new deal with Athletic Bilbao.

 

 

They believe if he leaves the Basque club, Williams will likely move to the Premier League in the near future, rather than heading to the Nou Camp.
