Have looked on the internet but can't find the answer and wondered if anyone knew ....

When i was a young lad i was away on my holidays with the adults, and we stopped somewhere for a break on a day-out that

.... had a long beach front
.... there was probably about 100m of grass between the car park and the sea front wall - after which was the beach
.... between the car park and the sea front wall there was a cafe with an amusement arcade (or it was just an amusement arcade) stood on it's own .... not amongst any other shops etc
.... on top of the building there was a roller coaster ... yes, on the roof. It was very old fashioned, not like your modern rides, a bit like a "miner 39-er" type ride ... probably mostly built of wood
.... the ride was actually closed that day because of the high winds
.... this was probably on the Welsh coast, or the Devon, Dorset coast or very slight possibility it was on the South East coast (those are the only places i went as a kid)

... can i find out where it was ? ... can i feck !!

So if anyone knows, or can find some reference to it on Google i'd be incredibly happy
