Journalist posts important Harry Kane development ahead of USA game
In what comes as a major boost to England, The Athletic’s David Ornstein has revealed that Harry Kane was part of the Three Lions’ final training session ahead of their clash against the United States on Saturday.
Gareth Southgate and the England fans were facing a nervous wait after it emerged on Tuesday that Kane would undergo a scan on his ankle after feeling some discomfort following the game against Iran (Sky Sports).
However, they were able to breathe a sigh of relief on Wednesday when it was revealed that the Tottenham man had escaped any serious injury.
The Daily Mail reported that the 29-year-old will wear strapping on his ankle over the next 24 hours and the striker is expected to be involved in the clash on Saturday as long, as he does not suffer any additional setback.
In what appears to be confirmation of Kane’s availability for the clash against the United States, Ornstein has now shared a video of the England captain walking out to be involved in today’s training session.

Kane is the one player in the England squad who is irreplaceable as Southgate does not have any other striker who possesses a similar skillset to the Tottenham man. So, this is indeed a huge boost for the Three Lions, who would essentially secure passage to the knockout stages if they can beat the Americans on Saturday.
