Tottenham midfielder misses out on World Cup squad – what’s his next step?

Moussa Sissoko has been left out of France’s squad for the World Cup finals.

The Tottenham midfielder aws one of the stars of his country’s Euro 2016 campaign, playing a big part as France reached the final only to lose to Portugal.

Those performances tempted Spurs into buying him for £30 million after the tournament.

Didier Deschamps has praised Sissoko’s attitude in the past – as has Mauricio Pochettino – but it seems he hasn’t done enough to make it to the World Cup.
