I can’t see the end zones, can you?

Eat your heart out, Boise State. Y’all think that blue field ya got over there is cute? Well feast your eyes on what is to come when folks hit paydirt in Benson Stadium.

College basketball is currently known for its audacious court graphics, but there’s not much that can really be done about a football field’s look. Coastal Carolina’s field is turquoise, Eastern Washington’s is red and Eastern Michigan’s is gray. Incarnate Word is sparing no expense on their field either, buying the best of the best.

The field is being constructed with FieldTurf’s Classic HD, teams such as the New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons and Texas Tech Red Raiders all play on the same turf.

Expected to be completed on June 1, 2018, the field is being funded by a a $250,000 donation from Methodist Healthcare System and Metropolitan Methodist Hospital, the school announced in March.

Among the more notable end zone patterns in the sport belongs to Tennessee, which has the legendary checkerboard pattern. The Vols don’t have camo, though.
